Provincial traffic police licensing authorities
Driving licence verification and renewal
Licences are issued and verified by the traffic police of the province that issued them — Punjab's DLIMS, Sindh and KP traffic police, or the ICT licensing branch in Islamabad.

What the process actually involves
A Pakistani driving licence is issued by the traffic police of the province or territory where you applied, after a written test, a medical certificate and a practical driving test. The learner permit comes first and must normally be held for a set period before the full licence test.
Verification exists because employers, ride-hailing platforms and rental companies need to confirm a licence is genuine and current. Punjab runs the Driving Licence Issuance Management System (DLIMS), which verifies a licence by CNIC or licence number; Sindh, KP, Balochistan, Islamabad, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan each maintain their own records and their own channels.
Renewal is done with the issuing authority, and most provinces allow renewal within a grace window after expiry before a fresh test is required. An international driving permit is issued separately, on top of a valid domestic licence.
As with every other record here, PakTools does not hold licence data and cannot verify a licence for you. The check has to happen on the issuing authority's own system.

Questions
Driving licence verification online kaise hoti hai?
Punjab ke liye DLIMS par licence number ya CNIC se verification hoti hai. Baqi soobon mein aksar apni traffic police ke daftar ya un ki apni service se hi tasdeeq hoti hai — poore mulk ka aik portal nahin hai.
Can a licence issued in one province be verified in another?
No. Each licensing authority keeps its own database, so verification has to be done with the authority that issued the licence, even though the licence itself is valid nationwide.
