Reading the charges on your bill

What is a reference number?
A 10 to 14 digit identifier for your connection, printed on the top portion of every bill. It stays the same each month.
I lost my bill — can I still check it?
Yes, if you have the reference number from any older bill. Without it, your distribution company's customer service can look it up using your meter number and address.
Why did my bill jump this month?
Check the units consumed first, then the adjustment lines. Slab-based tariffs mean crossing a usage threshold raises the rate on a large part of your consumption, not just the extra units.

K Electric bill check karna kaise hai?
K-Electric sirf Karachi ko bijli deti hai aur uska reference number doosri companies se alag format mein hota hai. Bill par diya gaya account/reference number K-Electric ke apne portal par daalein — LESCO ya MEPCO ke portal par woh kaam nahin karega.
Sui gas ka bill (SNGPL ya SSGC) kaise check karein?
Punjab aur KP mein gas SNGPL deti hai aur Sindh aur Balochistan mein SSGC. Dono apne consumer number par bill dikhati hain — yeh number bijli wale reference number se alag hota hai aur gas bill par hi likha hota hai.
Pani ka bill kaise check karein?
Pani ka bill sooba aur sheher ki water authority deti hai (misal ke tor par Karachi mein KW&SC, Lahore mein WASA). Yeh bijli aur gas ki tarah aik markazi system par nahin hai, is liye apni local water/WASA authority ka consumer number aur unka apna portal ya daftar hi qabil-e-aitmaad zariya hai.
PTCL bill check karna kaise hai?
PTCL ka bill phone number aur account ID par nikalta hai, jo bill ke oopar likha hota hai. Yeh PTCL ki apni service se check aur ada hota hai; bijli ke reference number se iska koi taalluq nahin.
Bijli bill unit rate Pakistan mein kitna hai?
Rate slab par mabni hai: jitne units barhte hain, utna hi zyada per-unit tariff lagta hai, aur us ke oopar fuel price adjustment, quarterly adjustment, GST aur TV fee alag se aati hai. Isi liye 100 units aur 300 units ka bill teen guna nahin, us se zyada farq rakhta hai.
Bijli units ka hisab kaise karein?
Units = maujooda meter reading manfi pichli reading. Har appliance ke liye: watt × rozana ghante ÷ 1000 = rozana units. Misal ke tor par 1000-watt AC 8 ghante rozana = 8 units rozana, yani mahine mein taqreeban 240 units — jo aksar aap ko oopar wale slab mein le jata hai.
