How the valuation works

| 1. Convert weight | Each piece is converted to grams (1 tola = 11.6638 g, 1 troy ounce = 31.1034768 g). |
| 2. Apply purity | Grams are multiplied by karat ÷ 24 to get pure gold content. |
| 3. Apply today's rate | Pure grams are valued at the current 24K per-gram rate in rupees. |
| 4. Compare to cost | If you entered a purchase price, profit or loss is the difference. |
